Early Years Apprentice

Your main responsibilities will be:

Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the children at the Nursery Assisting with the day to day running of the nursery to ensure the Nursery is providing high-quality childcare To establish and maintain positive relationships with children and their families in a way that values parental involvement To observe and assess children’s development and keep accurate updated records of their achievements in their learning journey To provide a service that respects children’s life experiences and celebrates diversity in terms of language, culture, ability, race and religion To work effectively as part of a team To assist in implementing policies and procedures of the nursery to ensure equality of access for children and families To understand and follow the Nursery’s Child Protection policies and procedures and attend the appropriate Safeguarding training To undertake necessary training, such as Safeguarding, First Aid etc. To participate in staff meetings/inset days before each term To attend supervision meetings with the Manager

Training:

Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:

Training will be provided as part of the job with the training provider You will also be required to complete CPD training, such as First Aid, Safeguarding, Food & Hygiene etc.

Training Outcome:
Progression to CACHE Level 3 training, and then to Montessori and Forest school training

Employer Description:
We own 3 Montessori nurseries based in London and Croydon.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 3.00pm, term time only, although shifts can be amended depending on the needs of the business.
