V05108 - Advanced Apprentice Site & Facilities Technician

You will rotate through several specialised teams, each focused on different aspects of plant maintenance Maintaining and repairing fixed plant systems, working on the infrastructure of buildings and machinery positioning in them. You will get hands-on experience with a broad range of equipment, including variable speed drives, computer numerical control (CNC) machinery, automated welding, cranes, robotics, thermography and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Day-to-day tasks may include performing routine and preventative maintenance, as well as improving the functionality of existing equipment and systems Specialised training provided for robotic welding, CNC/PLC operation, building management systems, conducting both minor and major repairs The role requires the highest safety and engineering standards applied each day in placement

Training:
Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying

Training Outcome:
