Senior Residential Care Practitioner - Solihull

Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Senior Residential Care Practitioner for a Children’s Care Home in Solihull.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior to support children and young people in a residential care setting. Your role will focus on creating positive experiences, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Duties will include:

Supporting and engaging with children and young people through activities, play, cooking, and personal careEncouraging independence and involvement in the wider communityHelping with education, health needs, and advocacyLeading and supervising a team, providing guidance and supportPlanning and managing staff shiftsSupporting team development through supervisions and trainingAssisting with the daily running of the home and following senior management decisionsEnsuring the home is safe and well-maintained, including health & safety checksManaging budgets and resourcesKeeping accurate records, writing reports, and attending meetingsWorking with external agencies and professionalsCreating, updating, and following care plans and risk assessments

In order to be considered:

NVQ Level 3 Children’s residential Or NVQ Level 3/4 Children, Young People & Family PractitionerExperience in a children's home settingSupervisory experiencePassion to help nurture young peopleBe able to work shift patterns including sleep insFull, UK Driving License

Hours of Work: 8am – 10pm (2 on / 4 off) (between 6-8 sleep in’s per month)

Salary: £28,000 per annum / sleep in’s are paid at an additional £60 per sleep
