For our eCommerce team in London, we are therefore looking for a Manager Third Party Online Partners Strategy and Innovation.


In this position you will be responsible for building and maintaining the strategy for successful commerce on Third Party Online Partners, including Marketplaces, eRetailers and qCommerce.

The role is accountable for developing and leading channel strategy and driving channel innovation.

Representing out clients Smoke-free vision and leading the global account management of Third Party Online Partners partnerships.


You will:

Responsible for crafting, developing and sustaining the Third Party Online Partners strategy - working closely with the Head of Marketplaces Business Development
Build the strategy for new channels (e.g.

qCommerce) and new fascia (e.g.

new marketplaces), activate it and pilot
Develop the channels strategy that accounts for regional differences, the global operating models and aligned with omni-channel GTM for the full range of our clients Non-Combustible Alternatives (NCA) product portfolio, including Heat-not-burn, vaping, nicotine pouches etc.
Develop top-down strategic partnerships with new Third-Party Online Partners
Collaborate with regional HUBs and commercial regional functions to identify new opportunities for bottom-up activations
Identify changes/innovation on Third Party Online Partners and translate them into tangible opportunities for out clients NCA categories
Lead and own the relationships with the key strategic partners whilst helping facilitate key introductions to business and brand owners to secure the commercial benefits e.g.

Launch of global service model defined in Marketplaces strategy
Drive the internal governance and secure alignment and support for the key partners across multiple functions.

Identify and build tangible use cases and partnership opportunities.
Communicate out clients Smoke Free Vision to partners and present critical and strategic mindset when leading the analysis and evaluation of partners strongly linked to business strategy
Design and pilot integrated communication strategies to help build the brand and activate key consumer acquisition, retention programs with Third Party Online Partners
Partner with other teams within the Global Consumer Organisation and other global functions such as Global Communications, IS, PM Equity etc to ensure the delivery of innovative, impactful and successful Third Party Online Partners initiatives
As a commerce subject matter specialist, identify new partner opportunities that will enable us to deliver on our business strategies and commercial objectives.

Encourage peers and colleagues to become disruptive innovators
Lead and facilitate close communication and alignment with the regional Hubs to better understand PM local market requirements
Lead the development of pilots and proof of concepts across Third Party Online partners to be operationalized in markets including securing the right resources like budget - settle the terms and service level agreements with partners aligned with out clients governance and compliance
Proactively driving innovation - prospecting and identification of emerging and new commerce opportunities to explore and pilot.

We're looking for someone with:

Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, eCommerce or related field required
Experience in a Partnership Account Executive, Business Development, or Strategic Partnerships Marketing Leading role
Experience of working directly with marketplaces (beyond Amazon is a plus: e.g.

eBay, Rakuten, Mercado Libre, Lazada, Shopee, Allegro), eRetailers (e.g.

MediaMarkt, Sainsburry etc) and qCommerce (e.g.

Glovo, Gorillas, Rappi) across a number of brands, including FMCG (marketplace, agency or brand /client side)
Demonstration of established network in eCommerce
Experience in negotiating joint agreements with key strategic partners and global brands, and expertise in vendor management.
A detailed understanding of the online retail market especially Marketplace Business Models.

A strong data and partnership background to understand both the opportunities and limitations of working with online retailers.
Proven experience of delivering successful projects in sophisticated matrix organisations.
Broad digital marketing experience that is not limited to (but should include) marketplaces
Experience of easily navigating and operating across network agency operations, including encouraging matrix relationships easily.
