Due to continued success, our client is looking for a Buyer / Procurement Coordinator to operate and coordinate their procurement, goods in and stock control system.

This covers stock items and job specific parts across all product lines.

Working closely with the manufacturing team for standard/stock items which may require manufacturing for supply.

The Role & Responsibilities of Buyer This role will comply with all systems, processes and standards set by the business.

The Buyer will help implement and maintain a Vendor Rating System and will assist the Production Manager report on the following objectives:- • Purchasing and stock control.

• Operate and maintain workshop stores.

• Manage consignment stock levels.

• Co-ordinate with vendors to ensure on time deliveries.

• Manage and operate goods in procedures including invoice match.

• Maintain bill of materials files and co-ordinate costs with production and accounts.

• Research & identify potential alternative suppliers.

• Manage and operate returns procedure.

• Quality control of procurement, goods in and returns.

• Organise customer deliveries and produce delivery notes.

• Always looking to improve efficiency, supply and cost control across all bought out purchases.
