Technical Sales Engineer
Role - Technical Sales Engineer E3 Recruitment are proudly supporting a globally operating manufacturing business with the recruitment of a Technical Sales Engineer Employing over 15,000 across 180 sites spread across the world, this engineering giant are a true powerhouse in their specific fields and offer world-class products and services to customers spread across a variety of industries, including Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Chemical Processing, Food/FMCG Manufacturing.
The successful technical sales engineer role is based in the Middlesbrough area but flexible working would also be considered depending on location.
Training on the company products, technology and procedures will be provided.
Main tasks and responsibilities
To provide support to the field service team and customers.
To liaise with key suppliers.
Maintain records on project tracking and customer relationship management.
Be able to deal with enquiries in a timely fashion whilst providing a high level of customer service.
Provide customer satisfaction reports on a regular basis which are to the satisfaction to the company based on their procedures.
Contribute to the sales meetings.
Preparation and negotiation of sales proposals according to company rules and procedures.
Contract reviews and management of projects from bid stage through purchase order to final delivery.
Contract administration duties: logistics and shipping, preparation of drawings, project documentation and invoicing.
The successful candidate will have:
Awareness of commercial systems and procedures including terms of contract, logistics and documentation.
Experience in a technical sales role.
Have a strong grasp of customer relationship management systems.
Technical education in an engineering discipline.
Must be computer proficient and have experience of working with presentation software and Microsoft programmes.
