Packing and Despatch Operative

In the role of Packing & Despatch Operative, you will be:

Safely and efficiently picking and packing orders for dispatch, ensuring all items are securely packaged and quality checkedPreparing shipping documentsProcessing orders and paymentsLiaising with customersAssisting with stock control, packing stock items, and re-stocking, inputting stock into the stock control system, and stock orderingGeneral day to day administration duties

 To be successful in the role of Packing & Despatch Operative you must:

Have previous experience in similar roleStrong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal, and an enthusiastic quick learnerHave basic computer skills (essential)  Ability to work under pressure in a challenge fast moving environmenteCommerce and administration experience would be an advantage

This is a full-time temporary role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday through to Friday with no weekend working required.  The role is currently being offered on a temporary basis with the possibly of the role going permanent for the right candidate.  £12.50 per hour + holiday pay.
