Job Title: Electrical Fitter
Location: St Helens
Salary: £28k DOE
Hours: Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:00pm (3:30pm finish on Fridays)

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Fitter to join a growing manufacturing business in St Helens. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a clean, modern workshop for a company specialising in vehicle conversions, installations, and fleet solutions. The business has a strong order book and offers excellent support and career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Fitter:

Run wiring looms through vehicles. Terminate and connect cables to electrical systems (lights, beacons, reversing cameras, etc.). Perform splicing, trunking, soldering, and general electrical installation. Fit subframes, bodies, and equipment to commercial vehicle chassis. Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and fitting instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment to deliver high-quality installations. Install hydraulic and electrical components, ensuring correct alignment. Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets company and client standards. Work as part of a small, supportive team in a busy workshop environment.
