Signmaking Apprentice

Assist in the design and layout of signage using templates or digital files Measure, cut, and prepare materials such as acrylic, metal, and vinyl Operate machinery including saws, routers, and CNC equipment Support welding and fabrication of metal sign components Assemble signs using fixings, adhesives, and frames Prepare signs for painting or powder coating Help with quality checks to ensure accuracy and finish Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and job specs Follow health and safety procedures at all times

Training:

Training will take place on a day release basis at Hull Training's Engineering Centre, Danepark Road, HU6 9DX.



Training Outcome:

There will be the opportunity of a full-time position upon completion of the apprenticeship providing the candidate performs well.
