Job Title: Cerebral Palsy Support Worker
Location: Letchworth, Hertfordshire
Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour
About the Role:
Join our team to support a young individual with cerebral palsy who is non-verbal, uses a wheelchair, and requires assistance with a PEG feeding system. You will provide 2:1 care.
Working Hours:
Currently seeking support workers for two 12-hour night shifts per week.Also looking for a team member for Saturday day shifts.More shifts will be available in the coming months as the client prepares for surgery and will need post-operative care.Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalized care routines.Must have experience with PEG feeding.Assist with daily activities, such as personal hygiene, mobility, and meal prep.Administer medication and monitor health.Offer emotional support and companionship.Maintain accurate care records and report changes in the client's condition.Work with healthcare professionals and family to ensure comprehensive care.Must have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
