About the RoleThe Unaccredited Urology Registrar is responsible for:
Managing day-to-day care of private and public inpatients and outpatients. Providing after-hours emergency cover as required. Participating in clinical teaching and professional development activities.This position offers a stimulating work environment with exposure to a diverse patient base and access to ongoing training and mentorship opportunities.
Job Details Position: Fixed-term, full-time (76 hours per fortnight, including 10 hours of protected training time). Duration: Starting 3 February 2025, up to 4 years (24 months negotiable). Salary: AUD $134,930–$189,005 per annum, plus allowances. Benefits Competitive salary with superannuation and salary packaging options. RequirementsEssential Qualifications and Experience:
General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Current Working with Children Registration (if applicable).Pre-Employment Checks:
Conviction checks for crimes of violence, sex-related offenses, serious drug offenses, and crimes involving dishonesty. Identification and disciplinary action checks.Desirable Attributes:
Strong clinical skills in urology and patient management. Commitment to ongoing education and professional growth.
