Personal Assistant - Supported Living

An exciting opportunity for a Permanent Support Worker has become available with one of our Clients in the Heywood Area.

Your Role
Working under the direction of a Team Leader, your role as a Personal Assistant will predominantly be working with 2 gentlemen with challenging behaviour, providing support where required through a variety of means such as encouraging development, undertaking activities to help develop their social skills, taking part in leisure and learning activities and helping them become as independent as possible whilst remaining respectful and maintaining their dignity.

You may also be required to help them maintain their accommodation and provide support identified with personal care needs whilst keeping high standards of hygiene.
Training for this role will be provided.

Your Hours
37 hours per week on a rota basis

£19,987.45 per Annum

What We need from You
A positive attitude with a friendly manner
Experience in adult male challenging behaviour
Support work experience
DBS preferred but not essential as our client will provide
Full training given in all aspects of the role
Please note: This role requires a Driving licence and one year minimum driving experience
