Resettlement Support Worker Southwark Supported Housing 3 Month Contract 36 Hours Per Week £18.19 LTD / £15.51 PAYE (inc hol)
We are recruiting for a Resettlement Support Worker to join a Housing Association in Southwark, supporting 14 clients across two sites.
THE ROLE As a Resettlement Support Worker, you will provide housing-related support to vulnerable individuals, ensuring they can maintain their tenancies and access essential services.
Key working 14 clients across two sites
Completing assessments and personalised support plans
Liaising with external agencies, including mental health teams, hospitals, and Adult Social Care (ASC)
Providing tenancy-related advice and practical support
Lone working as required within a structured rota
Monitoring client progress and maintaining accurate records
Supporting individuals to develop independent living skills and access community resources
THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will have experience in a supported housing environment and a strong background in resettlement support.
Previous experience in a similar role within supported housing
Ability to complete needs assessments and risk management plans
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and housing-related support services
Experience liaising with external agencies, including social services and healthcare providers
Strong communication and organisational skills
THE CONTRACT
This is a 3-month contract, with the potential for a temp-to-perm opportunity.
Shift pattern includes: Early shift: 7.30am – 3pm; Late shift: 2pm – 10pm; 9-5 shifts.
The pay rate for the role is £18.19 per hour LTD or £15.51 per hour PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay.
