Auto Electrician

An opportunity has arisen for an Auto Electrician with experience in business vehicle maintenance environment to join a well-established transportation company. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary of £35,000. As an Auto Electrician, you will install, repair, and maintain electronic systems in emergency service vehicles, including wiring, lighting, AV systems, telematics, and mobile CCTV. You will be responsible for: ? Diagnosing faults in complex auto electrical systems and assessing necessary repairs or replacements. ? Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently. ? Installing and maintaining wiring looms, lighting, telematics, CCTV, and auxiliary battery systems. ? Ensuring all work meets industry standards and safety regulations. ? Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment. ? Working collaboratively to meet project deadlines. What we are looking for: ? Previously worked as an Auto Electrician, Vehicle Electrician, MET Technician, Automotive Electrical Technician or in a similar role. ? Experience in a business vehicle maintenance environment. ? Background in diagnosing and repairing vehicle electrical and mechanical systems. ? IMI Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification. ? Understanding of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems (e.g., BTEC/HNC or City & Guilds qualifications, or equivalent). ? Familiarity with current vehicle maintenance methodologies. ?
