Maintenance Engineer Apprentice

Assist with Maintenance & Facilities team. Working with team leaders and managers. Maintaining of weld booths, prep bays, test bays and airline repairs as required. Cleaning of weld, prep and test bays. Cleaning & repairing of weld sets, hand tools, ducting and lights. Repair and replace air lines in bays. Repair and replace welder torches in bays.
Repair and replace hand tools in bays. Assist in day-to-day reactive work/breakdowns. Help maintaining the PPM schedule on machinery. Assist with the upkeep of building and grounds.
Assist maintenance in machinery repairs. Learning new skills and techniques on mechanical and electrical repairs. Assist in different aspects of joinery, plumbing, electrical and mechanical work. Assist contractors on site.

Training:

Working towards a Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician apprenticeship standard,



Training Outcome:

Potential full-time job upon completion of apprenticeship.
