Commercial Property Lawyer

Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking a Commercial Property Lawyer to join them on a locum basis. Please find below further details with regards to this position:

ROLE: Commercial Property Lawyer
LOCATION: South London
CONTRACT: 3 months ongoing
RATE: £40 to £50 per hour

Office Attendance: 1-2 days per week

Key Responsibilities:

Handle a variety of commercial property work including sales, purchases, leases, licences, and asset management Advise on land title matters and ensure compliance with relevant property transaction legislation Work collaboratively across the shared service, excluding routine residential matters (e.g., right to buy, lease extensions, residential management)

Requirements:

Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a current practising certificate in England & Wales Experienced in dealing with Commercial property matters within a local authority setting
