MET Technician
An exciting opportunity has arisen for MET Technician to join an independent vehicle repair centre. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £18 - £22 per hour. As a MET Technician, you will be stripping and refitting vehicles, including wheel alignment and light mechanical work You will be responsible for: * Carry out precise and efficient vehicle repairs, ensuring high-quality workmanship. * Utilise specialised tools and equipment for mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) repairs. * Dismantle and reassemble vehicles, removing and installing components as needed. * Adhere to health and safety regulations throughout all repair tasks. * Work closely with team members, providing updates and sharing relevant information. What we are looking for: * Previously worked as a MET Technician or in a similar role in the automotive industry. * Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs. * Hold a ATA/ NVQ Level 2/3 qualification. * Skilled in using diagnostic equipment and tools. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot faults effectively. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
