Advanced Apprenticeship Engineering/Tool & Die
Engineering is the process of designing and making the machinery for products of everyday life and ranges from low to high tech industries and includes mechanical engineering, fabrication, machining, electrical engineering and electronics and control engineering.
Tasks Include: Engineering & Maintenance
Tool & die repair Modification Design Die and mould maintenance Production supportTraining:
Regular attendance at North West Training Council will be required as per below;
Year 1 “Off the job” training at college mainly (paid employment)
Years 2, 3 and 4 – “On-the-job” training with college attendance 1 day per week.
Training Outcome:
This involves a 4-year apprenticeship program at Level 3, with the potential opportunity to progress to Higher Education at Degree level.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday. Shifts tbc.
