Advanced Apprenticeship Engineering/Mechatronics

Engineering is the process of designing and making the machinery for products of everyday life and ranges from low to high tech industries and includes mechanical engineering, fabrication, machining, electrical engineering and electronics and control engineering.

Tasks Include: Engineering & Maintenance

Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Robot Programming Programmable Logic Controllers Die & Mould support Production Support

Training:

Regular attendance at North West Training Council will be required as per below;

Year 1 “Off the job” training at college mainly (paid employment)
Years 2, 3 and 4 – “On the job” training with college attendance 1 day per week.

Training Outcome:
This involves a 4-year apprenticeship program at Level 3, with the potential opportunity to progress to Higher Education at Degree level
