Maintenance Mechanic Apprentice

Assist in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems. Learn and apply technical skills to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Support in the installation, calibration, and testing of machinery and equipment. Maintain maintenance records and document repairs, installations, and equipment performance. Participate in safety meetings and adhere to safety protocols and practices to ensure a safe working environment. Work under the guidance of senior mechanics and technicians to complete assigned tasks. Follow work orders and preventative maintenance schedules to ensure all machinery operates efficiently. Assist with maintaining spare parts inventory and order parts when necessary. Perform routine inspections of equipment and machinery to detect potential issues and notify senior mechanics.
