Machinist Apprentice

As a CNC Machinist your learning will consist of training on a variety of machines such as Milling, Turning & Grinding Machines. Your time will be split between attending In-Comm Training Centre in Telford where you will spend time learning basic engineering skills, and on-site putting your learning into practice where you will learn from our skilled engineers the basic principles and under pinning knowledge needed for your career. 

You duties will include:

Producing Components using Hand Fitting Techniques Preparing and Using Milling Machines Producing CAD Models (drawings) using a CAD system Producing Engineering Project Plans Preparing and Using CNC Machining Centres General Welding Applications Complying with Statutory Regulations Organisation Safety Requirements 

Training:

Machining Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

This Apprenticeship will be delivered over 3 years, the apprentice will be required to attend the training provider full time for the first 12 months and then one day a week for the remainder of the apprenticeship In-Comm Training Services in Telford, TF3 3AJ Please ensure you can travel to this address as well as to the company address Complying with Statutory Regulations Organisation Safety Requirements

Training Outcome:
On completion of your apprenticeship your career will begin with the role you are trained for Your career will then be driven by your personal ambition and drive and fully supported by the company
