Fitter Tester Apprentice
As a Fitter Tester your learning will consist of training on building and testing a variety of different products with increasing complexity. Your time will be split between attending In-Comm Training Centre in Telford where you will spend time learning basic engineering skills, and on-site putting your learning into practice where you will learn from our skilled engineers the basic principles and under pinning knowledge needed for your career.
Your duties will include:
Producing components using hand-fitting techniques Preparing & using milling machines Producing CAD Models (drawings) using a CAD system Producing engineering project plans Preparing & using CNC machining centres General welding applications Complying with statutory regulations, organisation. safety requirementsTraining:
This is a three year Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship, Technical Support pathway, with the first year being full time at the training provider, In-Comm Training Services in Telford, TF3 3AJ. Please ensure you are able to travel to this address as well as to the company address.
Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence) Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) Technical support and a Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)Training Outcome:
