Land based Service Engineering Apprenticeship - (SAN-0002-24)
Previous experience such as a level 1 or 2 in Engineering would be an advantage. You will be working in a busy workshop on customer vehicles carrying out tasks such as:
Heavy Agricultural vehicle servicing. Removing wheel. Barings, joints and inspections. Sub-assemblies. Fluid power and fluid packs. Fault Diagnosis. Removal and replacement of a range of parts. Assisting the other members of the team with more complex tasks. Steering and suspension. Electrical fault diagnostics. Cleaning the workshop.Training:
You will be working towards your Level 3 Land Based Service Engineering qualification. This will be a Block release delivery. The apprentice will spend 4 weeks in the workshops plus one week at college, approx 40 hours per week. 20% of this time will be off the job learning through college sessions, virtual training and online sessions. This will be supported by assessments that will take place at college. The remaining 80% will involve practical hands-on work.
Training Outcome:
This role has the potential to lead into employment as there are vacancies with the host company. Secondly, upon successful completion of the level 3 qualification, the candidate would be able to apply for positions as an Aggricultural Service Technician. This is an industry standard qualification and, with the experience gained on the job, will be valuable to employers.

Training & Apprenticeships in Construction Ltd (TrAC) is a DfE approved Flexi Job Apprenticeship Agency who will employ you for the duration of the apprenticeship and pay your salary. You should be aware that you will be placed with a host employer but you will not be employed by them. Your placement may change during the course of your apprenticeship but TrAC will employ you throughout, as well as continuing to support you into employment or further learning at the end of your apprenticeship.
Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, between 8.00am to 5.00pm.
