Supporting the experienced site team with the following to ensure the building is a pleasant and safe place to work, and for students to learn:

Maintenance - ensuring the building is fully operational Security - ensuring the building is secure Cleanliness - ensuring the building is clean and tidy Health and Safety - learning and supporting with the health and safety requirements to keep the school compliant

Training:
Facilities Services Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard

Training Outcome:
Site manager, or progress to level 3 or 4 in Facilities Management

Employer Description:
Opened in 2014, and recently judged 'Good' by Ofsted in all areas. The Gatwick School is a state-funded all-through school based in Crawley, West Sussex. Teaching children aged 4-16, the school is non-denominational and mixed gender. Located on Gatwick Road, it is less than a mile from the international airport of the same name. The school can be accessed on public transport by the Metrobus network, with the Gatwick Road North bus stop situated outside the school.
