Die Maintenance Technician Apprentice

You will split your time between college learning and working within our world-class manufacturing plant You will work across departments such as Press Tooling, Injection Moulding Tooling and Bodyshop Tooling, giving you a good opportunity to learn different processes. What’s more, you’ll gain experience working with some of the most up-to-date manufacturing equipment in the industry You’ll acquire the skills and knowledge to work as a member of the team maintaining the production tooling at Nissan, including CNC machining centres for milling, turning, and grinding and welding materials in all disciplines (MIG, TIG, ARC), with breakdown recovery and planned maintenance forming your key responsibilities You will develop a sound understanding of engineering drawings and will use CAD / CAM software for design and reverse engineering Your emerging skills will also support the development of the current and future line-up of Nissan’s vehicles, including new model launches and associated production processes

Training:

Your first year will be at college. In Year 2 - 5, you will split your time between college learning and working within our world-class manufacturing plant on day-release to college once a week.
