Lyng Hall School - School Sports Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship
Lyng Hall School are looking for an inspirational sports apprentice that has a passion for inspiring children to fall in love with sport and to enjoy being active. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced staff to learn the interpersonal and management skills needed to work with young people and adults whilst also being given the opportunity to share your own expertise and think creatively about how to help the school move forward with PE.
Training:
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education and School Sport. Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standard, 18 months practical with an additional 2 months End Point Assessment period. Functional Skills Level 2 in maths, and English (if required).
Training Outcome:
Previous apprentices have used the qualification as UCAS points to go to university and 3 previous apprentices have moved onto more advanced roles within the school.

Working Hours :
37.5 hours per week (term-time only). 8:15am – 4:15pm (including 30 minutes break). This can be flexible as long as 37.5 hours are completed per week.
