Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician Apprentice

Building upon your existing skills and knowledge you will programme, set and operate the following machines:

CMZ Lathe TC35 Series - Fanuc 321 Model B Colchester Alpha Combination Lathe - Fanuc OI - TF Dugard EC01000 VMC - Siemens 828D Machining Centre Herbert Criden Manual Lathe You will be required to problem solve production issues Ensure the safe and efficient performance of machines through preparation and maintenance - refilling oil and coolant where required Preparing the relevant documentation Creating components in a quick and efficient manner Maintaining quality standards by cleaning down machines, including the removal of swarf, and keeping workstations clean and tidy Practicing and enforcing Heath & Safety procedures Assist in keeping work department clean and tidy

Training:

You will be required to attend The Institute of Technology (IoT), Dudley, one day per week during term term.

Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship you will gain the Engineering Manufacturing Technician Level 4 Mechanical qualification
