Apprentice Quality Technician
Inspect and test incoming components and finished products
Assist in resolving quality issues with suppliers and internal teams
Prepare performance data and quality reports
Support first article inspections and qualification of parts/materials
Participate in internal audits and compliance checks (e.g. AS9100 and other relevant standards)
Maintain calibration and functionality of inspection equipment (e.g., CMM, spectrometer)
Investigate customer complaints and document corrective/preventive actions
Promote quality awareness and continuous improvement across the organisation
Ensure proper handling of non-conforming materials
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety in the quality area
Attend and support the Quality and other Department Tier meetings
Training:
Quality Practitioner Level 4.
Training Outcome:
This role will lead to a permanent position as a Quality Technician, if the training has been completed.

SBR (Southbourne Rubber) is a fast-growing company that specialises in production runs of specialist rubber components mainly O-Rings and Grommets aerospace and military applications using specialist rubber compounds. It has a Quality certification too; AS9100D and most importantly the extensive list of customer accreditations.
Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday - 8.30am - 5pm Friday - 8.30am - 1pm
