Engineering Fitter Apprenticeship
Follow the 5S and 7 Waste company guidelines across all departments
Translate drawings to production processes in the most efficient and cost-effective way
Work to the Automatics production schedule
Keep raw material correctly loaded in the machines for continuous production
Understand how to Set and operate automatic machines
Develop knowledge of CNC codes required to program machines
Manufacture components in accordance with production schedule
Support the team leader in the production of protypes as required
Make quality checks to specification during process and keep First Off and Batch Inspection Records to ensure correct quality levels are achieved
Maintain machinery and tooling in a good state of repair including cleaning to produce the highest quality of parts
Prepare machines for lights out operation
Store finished components in the correct place
Maintain all production data up to date
