Property Maintenance Apprentice

Whilst studying for your qualification, you will work on a variety of different projects such as:

Working on repairs such as skirting boards, walls, doors Working on plumbing and draining Customer care/service Carpentry/joinery Floor and wall tiling Plastering and rendering Ventilation Painting and decorating Guttering services Understanding of health and safety

Training:

The Level 2 Apprenticeship includes;

Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative Standard Apprenticeship CSCS Test  Functional Skills maths and English

As part of the apprenticeship programme, attendance is required at our Skills Group training centre for one day per week. All other aspects of the qualification will be delivered on-site by the employer. You will have regular visits every six to eight weeks from your designated Skills Group assessor, who will monitor your progress during your apprenticeship training.

Training Outcome:

On completion of your Level 2 Apprenticeship with the company, an opportunity for full-time employment may be available for the right candidate.

You will be able to discuss your onward options with your designated careers advisor.

Employer Description:
With more than 25 years of experience in property maintenance, MSB Property Services know the industry like the back of their hands. There’s no challenge too big or too small and they dedicate their utmost energy to every project they take on.

Working Hours :
The working hours will be around 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, hours may vary slightly depending on workload and travel time (to be confirmed). You will be required to attend Skills Group on a Monday for your Off The Job Training.
