Dispensing of medication to patients Over-the-counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & safety responsibility Rotation of stock Use of patient record systems and use of smart cards Data entry relating to medication Labelling and dispensing Accuracy and attention to detail Working within a team environment
Liaison with doctors, surgery and health professionals Completion of apprenticeship work on time

Training:
Pharmacy Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard Medicine Counter Assistant Course accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council [GPhc] (optional) End-Point Assessment (EPA) In-house training

Training Outcome:

Pharmacy Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship.
A possible permanent position within the organisation.

Working Hours :
Mon-Fri 40 hours per week.
