Childcare Apprenticeship - Leicester
As an Early Years Apprentice Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of our children. You will guide and encourage them to explore their interests, build their confidence, and develop a love for learning.
Day-Day Responsibilities:
Planning and modelling engaging provocations that align with the Curiosity Approach framework Supporting the children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Playing with and observing the children Fostering a nurturing and safe environment where children feel valued and inspired Collaborating with the team to reflect on and improve practiceTraining:
It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.
This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.
This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 12 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Early Years Practitioner - Level 2.
Training Outcome:
Possibility of a full time role after the completion of the apprenticeship.

Knighton Day Nursery opened in September 1993, we're a private, family run setting based in a converted bungalow on Welford road. Our long serving, well qualified team respond to each child's individual learning and development needs, working closely with parents to ensure every child is able to progress in relation to their own unique abilities and needs. Our parents love that their second or third child is cared for by the same staff that looked after their first. Most of our recommendations are word of mouth and we have an excellent reputation in the area. Some of our parents actually came to us as children! We're always happy to show parents around the nursery and answer any questions you may have, our policy is that our door is always open to visitors, assuring you of a true view of our nursery.
Working Hours :
Monday - Friday (shifts range between 07:30 - 18:00).
