Level 3 Business Admin Apprenticeship - Westminster
What will the apprentice be doing?
This apprenticeship will be based in an office on a busy construction site and an appreciation for following Health & Safety protocols is a must. Your general tasks could include:
- Controlling company and project documentation
- Sorting, storing, and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents
- Producing document progress reports for senior managers
- Ordering of office supplies and liaising with other office staff
- General admin tasks such as greeting clients, management of meetings and meeting room bookings, supporting with site signage, presentations, and may include supporting with events
These tasks can be repetitive with a high attention to detail needed. As you gain experience in your role, you will gain further tasks and responsibilities to add diversity.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The qualification you would be working to is the Level 3 Business Administration (Standard) where we will be looking to partner with a training provider to provide the training.
This training will mainly be through remote learning with a paid study time as needed up to 7 hours/1 day per week. You are expected to travel if needed for training and assessments. You will be responsible to managing/arranging with your line manager.
Training:

If required, you will also complete Functional Skills in English and maths.
Training Outcome:
On completion of this apprenticeship, you can work as a qualified Trainee Document Controller where, with more experience, you can look to progress into a Document/Office Management position. This could also develop into working in a construction companies head office, overseeing various projects.
On top of that, this is not a construction specific apprenticeship with the Business Admin qualification containing transferrable skills into other industries.

Working Hours :
Monday-Friday, weekends may be an option. Minimum of 35 hours per week but potential for more. Approx. 8am - 5pm but hours will be confirmed by contractor after successfully passing the Stage 1 & 2 Interview.
