Electrical Engineering Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship
As an Electrical Engineering Apprentice, you have the chance to play a fundamental role in bringing together MBDA's missile systems: designing and integrating the electronics that drive our Weapon Control Units, Actuators, Telemetry & Communication Systems and more.
Your work week will consist of one day study leave to attend university, with the remaining four days completing rotational placements within the Electronic Engineering department as well as Mechanical Engineering and more general placements, such as ISP and datalinks.
You'll also have the opportunity to complete external placements outside MBDA, with our external contractors and suppliers.
Training:
On this 4-year programme, you will study towards an Electrical Engineering degree at Hertfordshire University on day release for a minimum of one day per week, which will be funded by MBDA. Your on-the-job training will be within the Electrical Engineering department for the remainder of the week.
Training Outcome:
Through regular one-to-ones, development plans and the use of Mentors, you will have the opportunity to shape your career within the organisation. We have many senior members in the organisation that started life as an MBDA apprentice.

Working Hours :
Your contract will require you to work for 37 hours per week Monday - Friday with a flexible working scheme. Times to be confirmed.
