Creating 3D models & 2D drawings using Autodesk advanced steel Converting models for use in revit to meet BIM requirements Undertake meetings with the design teams & clients Site measuring/surveying

Training:
2 ½ Year Apprenticeship Programme Design Technician, Knowledge, skills & Behaviours - delivered in the workplace Level 3 BTEC in Construction and the Built Environment - Day Release or Remote Delivery (Optional qualification) Specialist Training Programme Blocks of your choice End Point Assessment - Knowledge Test, Practical Test and Presentation/Interview Specialist training in structural steel modelling (Tekla Structures and BIM processes)

Training Outcome:

After completing the apprenticeship, apprentices can progress into Senior Draughting or Design Technician roles, taking on more complex design responsibilities. With further experience, there are also opportunities to move into BIM coordination or management, overseeing digital design processes and project delivery.

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4.30pm (30-minute lunch at 1pm) Friday, 7am - 3pm (working lunch)
