Dental Nurse Apprenticeship

Provide efficient and reliable chair-side support to Practice Clinicians.

The role will also require working in other areas of the practice such as:

Reception Dealing with patient queries Answering the phone and greeting patients Taking payments Booking appointments and follow ups Sterilising and preparing equipment for Dentists Recording and dealing with patient records Supporting patients’ wellbeing and dental experience Cleaning dental areas including chairs

Training Outcome:

With experience you may be able to move into jobs like team manager, team leader or dental practice manager.

With further training you could become a dental therapist, helping a dentist carry out the more routine dentistry work. You could also become a dental hygienist, helping people to look after their teeth and gums.

You might decide to train as an orthodontic therapist helping dentists to improve the look and position of a patient's teeth.

Hardik and Satin have been friends since college. Together they have created the SmileArt Dental brand and have set up practices in Buckhurst Hill (IG9) and Winchmore Hill (N21). They both have a passion for providing quality and ethical general dental care within a practice which specialises in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry. Since 2012 they have already introduced adult orthodontics, implantology, sedation dentistry and anti-ageing facial treatments to Broadway Dental Care. Both Hardik and Satin are pointed Educational Supervisors for Health Education England and are heavily involved in mentoring the next generation of dentist.

Working Hours :
Monday 8am - 8pm, Thursday 8am to 8pm and Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm.
