Battery Build Apprentice Technician

The apprentice will be learning the competencies to fully build a prototype battery pack from the cell level all the way up to full system As part of their training they will learn how to use hand tools, machining, quality standards, policy procedures and testing processes This apprenticeship will give you skills across multiple areas of battery manufacturing

Engineering Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Standard Company Training Plan & Assessment BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Engineering (1 day per week for 2 years at college) Level 4 Diploma in Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing (Development Competence) Level 2 Functional Skills - maths (If required) Level 2 Functional Skills - English (If required) End Point Assessment at the end of the apprenticeship (Months 36 to 39) College will be in Bicester, Oxfordshire

Training Outcome:
HV Battery Build Technician on completion of apprenticeship, skills gained will also allow you to move into a testing role, manufacturing engineer role or Programs Team
