Apprentice Pharmacy Technician

You will be responsible to the Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist, and will be expected to work as part of the team.

Your duties may vary depending on the needs of the pharmacy, but may include.

Selling over the counter medicines and other products Dispensing prescriptions, under the supervision of the Pharmacist Generating Prescription labels Receiving and storing stock

Training:

Pharmacy Technician Level 3 Apprentice Standard:

Qualification:

Level 3 BTEC Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians College attendance – 1 day per week in term time and skills assessment in the workplace

Training Outcome:
Training over two years to be accredited as a qualified Level 3 registered pharmacy technician (Integrated) and accuracy checker

Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 6.00pm and Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm
