Level 3 Engineer Apprentice
Working to agreed company standards and procedures
Completion of assembly record cards to ensure traceability and identification of serial numbered components
The assembly and wiring of electrical components, of varying size and complexity using drawings, parts lists and specifications
Mechanical assembly of cubicles and framework
Bench assembly of electrical sub-assemblies
Quality of own work and rework identified during inspection and test.
Updating electronic issues log and communicating directly with responsible design engineers
Training:
Level 3 Engineering Technician Product Design and Development
Awarded from Newcastle Under Lyme College
Training is typically completed two days a week
Training Outcome:
During the apprenticeship a career path with be identified and a future plan put in place for after completion of the qualification to move on through the engineering pathway.
