Nursery Apprentice
Complete a relevant qualification within the agreed timeframe and develop professionally
Learn all aspects of the Key Person role with the support of a mentor
Have a shared responsibility for safeguarding, protect children, parents, and staff from harm
Work as part of a supportive team
Carry out Practitioner tasks with support and supervision
Leading by example to the children, e.g Being able to demonstrate good hygiene skills

Holbrook & District Preschool has been running for many years by committed, caring and qualified staff. Their primary aims are to offer a secure, friendly and stimulating environment which promotes learning through play for every pre-school child in their care. Each child is given the opportunity to learn new skills, make friends and enjoy a wide variety of activities. Activities are designed to stimulate the child’s creativity and imagination, extend the child’s understanding of the world around them, develop language and listening skills, learn to work in groups and to respect and value people from all backgrounds. They have a lot of fun too. Holbrook Playgroup is affiliated to the Pre-School Learning Alliance and is regularly inspected by Social Services and Ofsted. All Health and Safety Guidelines as required by Ofsted Early Years are followed.
Working Hours :
Opening hours are Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 6.00pm. Term time only. Rota to be discussed at interview.
