Delivery of customer service Dispensing of medication to patients Over counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & safety responsibility Observing COVID restrictions and guidelines Use of patient record systems and use of smart card Data entry relating to medication Labelling and dispensing Accuracy and attention to detail Numerate Working within a team environment Liaison with doctors surgery and health professionals

Training:

Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant apprenticeship standard, which includes: 

End-Point Assessment (EPA) In-house training Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant qualification

Training Outcome:
Full-time permanent role for the right person Further potential for other training such as a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician apprenticeship

A pharmacy based in Wylam, Northumberland are hoping to recruit a hardworking and determined candidate to work within their small team of qualified professionals, as an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 08.30 to 18.00. Saturday, 09.00 to 13.00. Sunday, closed. Shifts to be confirmed.
