Animal Care Apprentice
A very exciting opportunity has arisen to supervise dogs in a Day School facility in Hull, just off Hessle Road.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will be (but not limited to):
To ensure the smooth running of the Day School facility To ensure every customer has a positive experience To perform administrative duties as required, including telephone and face to face work To promote the services of the business in a positive way and to demonstrate commitment to the success of the business on a day-to-day basis To work towards an Apprenticeship in Animal CareThe type of person that they are looking for is:
Someone with a genuine love of dogs Be kind and gentle To be polite and courteous to people To be able to follow instructions and work to an extremely high standard You must not be afraid of hard work, and be able to be on your feet all day To have a good work ethic Want a career working with dogsDuring the apprenticeship you may also be asked to assist in the grooming department bathing and preparing dogs.
Training:
A level 2 Animal Care & Welfare apprenticeship will be awarded on successful completion of the apprenticeship.
All training will take place within the workplace, supported by Haddon Training.
Your dedicated trainer coach will visit you at work every 4 weeks.
Training Outcome:
A full-time position with the company for the right candidate and a pathway to the Level 3 Animal Care qualification if desired.

Working Hours :
The final shift pattern will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate. However. you must be prepared to work the occasional Saturday.
