Apprenticeship Manufacturing Engineer - Level 6

Analysis of manufacturing processes across the Machining Centre of Excellence in all aspects of production.  Adherence to product design requirements, cost, quality, compliance to safety standards and environmental requirements. Work closely with a wide range of functions within the business, including Operations, Quality, Design Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure you develop the skills needed to become a successful manufacturing engineer within Caterpillar.

Training:
As part of this programme apprentices are required to attend university sessions on a day release basis (online synchronous delivery once a week, and on campus (Coventry city centre) sessions 1 – 2 times per month). On campus sessions will allow you to experience Coventry University’s state of the art labs and facilities which will enhance the quality of training you will be given.  Travel will need to be considered for the face-to-face sessions - the campus does have excellent public transport links with it being within the city centre and there are also car parks with discounted student rates (subject to availability)

Training Outcome:
Upon completion of the apprenticeship, apprentices can apply for IEng (Incorporated Engineer) professional registration status.
