Apprentice Engineer

·        Servicing & maintaining various Fire Alarm and Life Safety systems 
·        Assisting in the installation and commissioning of Fire Alarm and Life Safety Systems 
·        Use of hand tools and cordless drill etc. 
·        Completion of site paperwork 
·        Liaising with customer on site 
·        Applicants should have experience of using IT systems / good basic IT skills. 
·        Driving licence preferable for this role, as it is access to your own transport. 
·        3-6 month probationary period applies. 
·        The successful applicant will be required to attend day release at Access Training on Team Valley, Gateshead. 
 

Training:

You will attend Access Training (Team Valley, Gateshead) for day release – 1 day per fortnight and be enrolled on the Fire, Emergency and Security Systems level 3 apprenticeship standard.

Day release is fortnightly in years 1 and 2 of the apprenticeship programme, and weekly in year 3.

Working Hours :
40 Hours per week 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
