Apprentice Dental Nurse

Dental Nurse role consists of:

Assisting dentists Decontaminating instruments Updating patient records as instructed by the dentist Supporting the wider team Have the ability to use your own initiative Set up and prepare the surgery High standards of cleanliness and infection control Keeping patient information confidential Reassuring patients Confidentiality Reception duties Stock control Follow all workplace policies and procedures Safeguarding Assist with X-rays

Training:
Training will take place in either our Manchester or Blackburn academy (depending upon your location).  It will be face to face, utilising technology and the expertise of our tutors. Weekly training sessions. 

Training Outcome:
After completing the apprenticeship, you will be a fully qualified Level 3 dental nurse. Smart Dental Academy also off ILS training, as well as Application of Fluoride Varnish and Impression course.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, with 1 day in one of our academies. Shifts TBC.
