Quality Engineer Apprentice
The Quality Engineering function is responsible for covering a diverse range of Supplier and Engineering issues across Press, Body, Paint and General Assembly. Key activities include:
Support the Manufacturing and Quality Operations teams by providing technical leadership to ensure internal and external supplier quality is always maintained Ensure the provision of a rapid response to problems experienced by customers to quickly contain issues and generate solutions that ensure continuity of production Work closely with suppliers/customers/Service providers to ensure good working relations and excellent communication channels are maintained Raise outstanding Engineering concerns with the responsible QPL/Design teams Steer critical items through Stellantis’ engineering escalation processTraining:
In-house training plus the candidate will follow a Level 4 Apprenticeship programme and study towards a Level 4 Engineering manufacturing technician This training will be structured and delivered by Cheshire College – South & West If the candidate does not hold GCSE grades A-C (9-4) or equivalent, they will be required to complete a Level 2 Functional Skill in the relevant subject
Training Outcome:
Full time employment and progression though the Plant Quality/ Manufacturing/ Engineering organisations with no limit to progression
