Early Years Educator Nursery Apprentice

Interact with and support children’s learning through play and activities. Observe, assess, and plan learning experiences based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements. Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children, promoting equality and diversity. Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers, acting as a key person for assigned children. Support children’s emotional and social development, helping them develop positive relationships with peers. Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and stimulating environment, both indoors and outdoors. Work alongside colleagues and multi-agency professionals to ensure the well-being and development of all children.

Training Outcome:

Upon completing the Early Years Educator apprenticeship, you can pursue various career opportunities in early childhood education, such as:

Nursery Room Leader or Supervisor: Take on a leadership role in managing a team and overseeing the daily running of a nursery room. Early Years Coordinator or Manager: Progress into more senior positions managing early years settings or children's centres. Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO): Specialise in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) within early years environments. Further Qualifications: Consider further study such as a Level 4 or 5 qualification in Early Years or a degree in Early Childhood Education to open more advanced career options.

Working Hours :
