Providing a high quality, comprehensive clerical/administrative service to meet the needs of Electoral Services Maintaining the electoral register ensuring all entries made are accurate Providing information to the public on matters regarding elections and electoral registration over the phone, face to face and email in a courteous and professional manner Operate a variety of PC based software systems - word processing, excel etc Raising purchase orders and timely payment of invoices



Training:
Advanced Business Administration Level 3 End Point Assessment (EPA) Functional Skills in maths and English if required Regular training and development sessions to meet the needs of the employer and the apprentice

Employer Description:
Hull City Council’s Electoral Services are looking to appoint an apprentice to join their team. They are looking for someone to assist with the general administration duties to maintain databases, gather and record information. At Election times this is a fast paced environment therefore attention to detail and accuracy is important. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the local authority.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday 7.5 hours, Friday, 7.00 hours. Shifts starting and finishing time to be confirmed.
