Early Years Practitioner Apprentice
The role involves working with Pre-school children to deliver early years care and education, and also working with older school-age children at our After School Club.
The role involves:
Having a commitment to safeguarding the children, with full supervision and support from other Preschool staff Promoting the well-being of the children Promoting the learning and development of children by helping to deliver play activities both indoors and outdoors Helping to set up activities so that they are appealing, and tidying them away afterwards Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating environment Keeping accurate, legible written records, with full supervision and support from other staff Working as a team with other staffTraining:
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification Relevant training will be provided through Lancaster and Morecambe College in order to complete the programme Functional Skills may also have to be completed
Training Outcome:
For the right candidate this role may, in time, lead to full-time employment
Employer Description:
We are a charitable Pre-school which is managed by a committee of parents. We have our own building and we are situated in a village location. We provide care and education to early years children aged 2 - 4 years old, as well as Out of School Clubs for children up to the age of eleven. We have eight members of staff.
Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday. Shifts to be disclosed.
