Autocare Technician Apprenticeship
Learning how to service and repair all makes & models of motor vehicles Learning how vehicle service and repair is impacted by legislative, regulatory and ethical requirements, including health and safety law and environmental procedures Select and use tools and equipment, mechanical and electrical measuring tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Training:
The Apprenticeship includes at least 20% of your working hours training. Training will take place at Hugh Baird College on a weekly day release. Autocare technician L2 Apprenticeship Standard
Training Outcome:
On a successful completion, apprentices will be eligible for the following job roles or further studies.
A Level 3 Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle (Progression Route) Contracted or permanent job within the industryEmployer Description:
AS auto repair is a MOT testing station providing servicing and repairs to all makes of cars and vans up to 3.5 tons (class 7) Tyres Tracking Diagnostics
Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday 9.00am - 5.30pm, Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm with 1 working day attending Hugh Baird College on day release.
